Suburban Subaru Loves Pets
Let's Talk About Pets!
Suburban Subaru is a proud supporter of Subaru Loves Pets!
This year we are proud to partner with Pack Leaders Rescue of CT for an in-person pet adoption! Suburban Subaru will be donating $100 for every pet adopted during the month of October.
We love supporting local animal shelters and providing resources to help these wonderful animals find their furever families.

About Our Partner Shelter
Pack Leaders Rescue of Connecticut is a nonprofit animal rescue organization committed to giving abandoned, neglected, and homeless pets a second chance at life. Their mission focuses on rescuing dogs and cats from difficult situations, providing necessary medical care and behavioral support, and helping them transition into loving forever homes.
Through their rescue, transport, and behavioral training programs, Pack Leaders Rescue works tirelessly to evaluate, rehabilitate, and prepare animals for successful adoption. The organization partners with foster families and adopters throughout Connecticut and surrounding areas to ensure pets are matched with homes where they can thrive.
With thousands of successful adoptions and countless lives changed, Pack Leaders Rescue continues to make a meaningful impact on animal welfare throughout the region. Their dedication to responsible pet ownership, adoption education, and long-term placement support helps create lasting bonds between pets and families.

More Ways To LOVE Pets!
Getting
involved is easy. We know your phone is full of photos of your furry
friends…ours, too. All you have to do is post! Throughout the month of October,
post a public photo or video of your pet on Facebook, Instagram, X, or
TikTok using the hashtag #SNELovesPets. For each unique post, we'll
pledge $5 to our 12 shelter partners, up to $75,000!* Our goal is
to hit a total 15,000 (or more!) pet posts using #SNELovesPets, which
will ensure each shelter receives $6,250!
For
Subaru of New England, this campaign is about more than just raising funds
- it's about spreading the word for the animals we love. With your help,
we can raise awareness and make sure shelter pets get the care, love, and
forever homes they deserve.
How Can You Help?
There are many ways individuals can help animals in need. Here are some impactful actions you can take:Adopt, Don't Shop: Consider adopting a pet from a shelter or rescue organization instead of buying from a breeder or pet store. Volunteer: Offer your time at local animal shelters or rescue groups. Tasks can range from walking dogs to helping with administrative work. Donate: Financial contributions, pet food, supplies, or even old blankets and towels can make a big difference. Foster: Provide a temporary home for animals in need, helping them transition from shelters to permanent homes. Advocate: Raise awareness about animal welfare issues in your community and support legislation that protects animals. Educate: Teach others about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying/neutering pets to control the animal population. Report Abuse: If you witness animal cruelty or neglect, report it to local authorities or animal control. Support Ethical Brands: Choose products from companies that prioritize animal welfare and avoid those that test on animals.
Every small action can contribute to a larger impact in improving the lives of animals. 🐾
