2025 Subaru Forester vs. Honda CR-V
The 2025 Subaru Forester comes standard with Symmetrical all-wheel drive for enhanced traction on wet or icy roads. 8.7 inches of ground clearance and X-Mode drive modes help it power through snow-covered roads in the winter. The new Honda CR-V comes standard with front-wheel drive, and it costs more to add all-wheel drive. It also has just 7.8 inches of ground clearance.
The 2025 Subaru Forester comes with dual 7-inch touchscreens and support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto, but an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone charging is available. The new Honda CR-V's infotainment system comes standard with one 7-inch touchscreen, and its largest display is just 9 inches long.
All 2025 Subaru Forester trims come with the EyeSight driver-assist suite, which has four features, including a new emergency stop feature for unresponsive drivers. The new Honda CR-V only has three standard driver aids, and emergency stop is not available.
2025 Subaru Forester vs. Toyota RAV4
The 2025 Subaru Forester comes standard with Symmetrical all-wheel drive for better footing on slick streets. All-wheel drive is available in the new Toyota RAV4, but you must pay more to add it.
At highway speeds, road and wind noise are barely noticeable in the 2025 Subaru Forester thanks to more sound deadening in its roof, under the floor, and in the firewall. The new Toyota RAV4 has a noisy engine that drones loudly under hard acceleration.
The 2025 Subaru Forester has ample space to stow your suitcases or camping gear. This includes 29.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 74.4 cubic feet of room with the back seats folded down. The new Toyota RAV4 has 37.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, but only 69.8 cubic feet of cargo room with those seats folded.
2025 Subaru Forester vs. Nissan Rogue
The 2025 Subaru Forester can help you get around town, even when the streets are covered with snow or ice thanks to standard Symmetrical all-wheel drive. The Nissan Rogue comes standard with front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is available for added cost.
Subaru gave the Forester a stiffer body for 2025, allowing it to ride smoothly without being too soft. The new Nissan Rogue has bland handling, and sharper road imperfections make their way into the cabin.
The 2025 Subaru Forester's EyeSight driver-assistance package now includes a rear seat reminder. This feature helps you prevent child or pet entrapment by alerting you to check the rear seat before exiting the Forester. The new Nissan Rogue doesn't offer a rear seat reminder feature.
